Risky Mediations--How the Mediator's Comfort with Risk Impacts the Mediation

There are three factors that determines a person's comfort with risk in any given situation. These are: vulnerability to loss, potential gain, and outcome uncertainty. Through small group discussion this session will look at how the mediators comfort with risk may impact how the mediator engages the parties and what questions can be used to assist parties in exploring their comfort with taking risks and exploring options.
