This course is NOT designed for developers who want technical and development specifics.
Overview
The eLearning Strategies course provides an overview of the strategic imperatives, issues and types of decision required when implementing eLearning programs.
The course is a two-day, classroom-based program. It has an online component that offers the opportunity to combine theory with practical application in real life situations. It emphasizes a strategic perspective rather than building technical expertise.

The eLearning Development Process (June 25, 8:30 am - Noon)
- Developing an eLearning course (You'll actually create a course as a group activity in this session.)

Learning Management Systems - Is Your Business Ready? (June 25, 1 - 4:30 pm)

Special Notes
**Registration limited to 20.
**Each session is designed to build on the last one. This means that the entire course is intended to be taken by one person, not split between 2 or more individuals. Full registrations will be accepted for 1 person only.
Credit
To obtain the one hour of credit, you must register for all four session and then add $55 to that cost. The course number for credit for ASTD chapter members is TBA and for others is TBA.
To receive credit, you must attend the entire two days and be prepared to do a paper as determined by the lead instructor. Students taking the course for graduate credit must take the course for a letter grade and must achieve at least a "B" grade in order to the credit to be transferable into the graduate program.
This course can be used as an elective in the PSU PACE program.
Cancellation Policy
To receive a refund, a written request (email) before the early bird date (listed above) must be received in the Chapter office.
Refunds not available after the program starts. Refunds for those electing the credit option cannot be given after the program starts.
